  • My clinical interests include traumatic brain injury, pain management, sports medicine, biologic therapy/PRP, delivery of rehabilitation care in developing nations, and electrodiagnostic medicine
  • I established the first PRP program in the United States military healthcare system in 2010, and I have personally performed over 5,000 PRP injections for musculoskeletal disorders (including PRP injections done while deployed in a Combat Support Hospital in Khost, Afghanistan)
  • Established the first pediatric concussion/mTBI evaluation and treatment recommendations for the United States military healthcare system
  • Served as subject matter expert for rehabilitation recommendations for injured Ukranian soldiers via in-country (Ukraine) and telemedicine patient assessments
  • Performed the first in-home telemedicine TBI rehabilitation patient encounters in the United States military
  • Medical advisor for the Georgia (Tbilisi) Amputee Rehabilitation Program treating Georgian soldiers injured in the Afghanistan conflict
  • Coordinated mutilateral agreement between United States Army Europe, United States Air Force 48th Medical Group (UK), and the United Kingdom’s National Health System to allow US military surgeons to operate in UK trauma centers
  • Edited the Ukrainian national legislation regarding the care and reintegration of rehabilitation patients, akin to the Americans With Disabilities Act in the United States
  • Programmed and executed multiple medical planning conferences bringing together senior medical officers and planners from 12 NATO and Allied countries
