An avid sports enthusiast, my goal is to help his patients recover from shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle injuries and get back to their pre-injury level of activity.

I began my higher education at Sargent College at Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology in 1994. I then returned home and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Miami in 1996 and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or DO, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2000. Continuing his education, he lastly earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami in 2018.

For my training, I completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence in Independence, Missouri. Not stopping there, I received a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine and stem cell therapies.

I am certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and am an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopaedics, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. I am  currently the President of the Miami Orthopedic Society.

I have served as a physician for many athletic teams and clubs and he is a sports medicine practitioner for USA Soccer Youth.
To better serve the greater Miami community, Dr. Gorin is bilingual in Spanish.

Rob Gray, MD FAAOS Board-Certifed x 2 Alum of Brown University, Rush Orthopaedics, Mayo Clinic

I am a KOL in Hand and Orthopaedic Surgery with experience in implant design and manufacturing, Telehealth platform development, surgical coaching, and medicolegal and Workers' Compensation cases.

I hold two current U.S. Utility Patents and have pending applications for implants and kits.  I am an active industry consultant as a member of Speakers' Bureaus and as a member and Surgeon-lead for design teams.

Device Industry
I can probably be most helpful for early stage (non-conflicted) companies and inventors looking for strategy advice, patent strategy, and marketing information.  My knowledge of orthopaedics is very deep and broad, but the strategies and techniques I have are applicable to other fields (though I will have to depend on you for scientific specifics).

Sugeons and Health Systems
I have a robust outpatient surgery practice in a growing hospital system in the Chicagoland area.  I have become the leading orthopaedic surgeon by volume in my geographic area for the last several years and have specific knowledge on practice building, team management, and developing efficiencies within large organizations.  A "Players' Coach," I can help surgeons of all specialties identify opportunities for personal and practice growth and guide them through their process.

For Health Systems and larger private practices, I have knowledge of next generation options for ambulatory surgery management, Telehealth and remote delivery options.  I also analyze web presence and opportunities for expanding digital marketing and patient outreach.

Medicolegal and Workers' Compensation
As a high-volume surgeon, I have experience as an expert witness for plaintiff and defense work.  I perform chart reviews and evaluation of cases to help contextualize care.  I perform IMEs and have additional training from the AAOS on Workers' Compensation and Occupational Injury claims.  Note: deposition rates are different than hourly chart-review and consulting rates.
